Ford’s Range of EV Models and Their Capabilities

Ford’s commitment to EVs extends throughout their lineup: from the Ford Escape Hybrid and Escape plug in Hybrid, to the Mustang Mach-E and electric Explorer Limited SUVS, electric truck options of the F-150 Hybrid the all-electric F-150 Lightning and the hybrid Maverick to the all-electric E-Transit line.

While we wait for the full line of 2024 Ford EV and hybrids to roll into showrooms, here’s the breakdown of the 2023 Ford EV and hybrid models including their battery range and acceleration/towing capability:

Ford’s current EV and Hybrid SUV options:

’23 Mustang  Mach E Select– 150 mile standard battery range, with an acceleration rate of 1-60 MPH in 6.3 seconds.

’23 Mustang Mach-E Premium– 250 mile standard battery range, also with an acceleration rate of 1-60 MPH in 6.3 seconds.

’23 Mustang Mach-E California Route 1– 312 mile standard battery range, with an acceleration rate of 1-60 MPH in 4.8 seconds.

’23 Mustang Mach-E GT– 270 mile standard battery range, with an acceleration rate of 1-60 MPH in 3.8 seconds.

‘23 Explorer Limited– Ford’s hybrid SUV has seating for 7, a 3.3 liter hybrid engine, fully off-road capable with a towing capacity up to 5,000 lbs

‘23 Escape ST Line Elite Hybrid– 2.0L EcoBoost engine with twin-scroll turbocharger and towing capacity up to 1,500 lbs

‘23 Escape Plug-in Hybrid– Plug-in Hybrid 2.5L iVCT Atkinson-Cycle I-4 engine with max towing capacity of 1,500 lbs

Ford’s current EV and Hybrid 2023 TRUCK options:

’23 F-150 Lightning Pro– 240 mile standard battery range, with an estimated towing capacity of 5,000 lbs. with a standard-range battery.

’23 F-150 Lightning XLT– 240 mile standard battery range, 320 mile extended-range with an estimated towing capacity of 5,000 lbs. with a standard-range battery, and 7,700 with extended-range

’23 F-150 Lightning LARIAT– 240 mile standard battery range, 320 mile extended-range with an estimated towing capacity of 5,000 lbs. with a standard-range battery, and 7,700 with extended-range

’23 F-150 Lightning Platinum– 300 mile extended range battery, with an estimated towing capacity of 8,500 lbs. with extended range battery.

‘23 Ford Maverick– Maverick LX model comes with a 2.5L hybrid powertrain, seating for 5 and a max 1559 lb payload
