The Mach-E is Ford’s first all electric vehicle. Its design is based on the iconic Ford Mustang. Some of the lines are very reminiscent of Ford’s classic muscle car. In addition to being based on the Mustang, the Mach-E will actually bear Mustang branding. So technically it will be a part of the Mustang family.

At first it was unclear whether or not the Ford Mach-E is a Car or an SUV. After the release of the vehicle in November, all the questions were answered. Although the design of the Mach-E is based off of the Mustang, It is actually classified as a Sport Utility Vehicle. When you see the Mach-E in person you will understand why It is classified as such. It’s body style is very similar to the extremely popular Ford Escape.
