Another thing to consider is buying used (pre-owned) versus Certified Pre-Owned (CPO).  `Used’ or pre-owned simply means the car you’re considering is not new- it was purchased previously by another owner.  Certified Pre-Owned means the pre-owned car you’re considering comes with a warranty and has undergone a comprehensive multi-point inspection performed by certified factory-trained technicians, and is then approved to meet the CPO specifications. Because CPO used vehicles come with more warranty coverage, they tend to cost a little more than standard pre-owned used cars.
