2020 Ford Escape Titanium vs 2020 Ford Escape SEL

Compared to the 2020 Ford Escape SEL, the Titanium includes upgrades in performance, interior, and safety features. While the Ford Escape SEL is powered by a 1.5L EcoBoost engine, the Ford Escape Titanium offers the option to upgrade to a 2.0L EcoBoost engine. For the economically minded drivers, the Ford Escape Titanium offers a hybrid version while still boasting 221 horsepower and a continuously variable transmission. Regardless of the choice in engine, the Titanium also provides better gas mileage. In addition, the Titanium provides all-wheel drive, a feature that is not available in other trims.

2020 Ford Escape Titanium Interior Features

The 2020 Ford Escape Titanium offers a luxurious interior upgrade that will not disappoint. The 2020 Ford Escape SEL’s interior comes with front seat heating, a 10-way power driver’s seat, power-operated windows, locks, and mirrors, and a standard 6-speaker stereo system.  The Titanium adds on a powered passenger seat and Sirius XM Radio.  The 2020 Titanium also offers the options of a head-up display and sunroof.   The Titanium’s key interior feature is the B&O Sound System by Bang & Olufsen, which includes 10 speaker and a subwoofer.

2020 Ford Escape Titanium Safety Features

When it comes to safety, the Ford Escape Titanium can’t be beat.  The 2020 SEL comes with rear child safety locks, front and rear airbags, and a rearview camera.  Both the SEL and Titanium trim levels include blind-spot information systems and lane departure warning.  Upgrading to the Titanium adds on the Ford Co-Pilot 360 Assist safety package, one of its most distinctive features.  This includes adaptive cruise control, stop-and-go lane centering, active park assist, and voice-activated navigation system.   The active park assist makes parking easy, even in the most impossible spots.  It does all the work for you, it even finds the spots.  All you have to do is come to a complete stop and press a button, your vehicle will do the rest.
